Welcome
You can expect a warm welcome if you visit The Thirst Edition Micropub in Church Street, Shipston-on-Stour. With an ever changing range of cask ales, traditional ciders, wines, spirits, (a wide range of Gins) craft beers in bottles (from around the world) and soft drinks, there is something for everyone.
The idea is to provide a place free from music, TVs, and food where people can come along, relax, meet like minded people and make new friends in a Steampunk meets Art Deco setting.

The Ongoing Story
2024 was the best year we've had since opening. We had four tap takeovers on the four Bank Holidays, North Cotswold, Buxton, Castle Rock, and Thornbridge Breweries. We were also Shakespear CAMRA pub of the Year 2024 for the second year running. Monday live music was beginning to tale off with some great bands and the odd famous names playing. This is going to be a priority in 2025. Even though the place is small my goal is to build up a reputation for putting on top class music. Business throughout the year up to the middle of October was excellent, but dropped off through November and December particularly.
